Silk Sonic, the duo made of Anderson .Paak and Bruno Mars have had massive success out the gate with their hit single ‘Leave The Door Open‘, topping the Billboard Hot 100 chart and amassing millions of streams worldwide.
While we still wait for news on their joint album, they put together a special performance for the BET Awards tonight, doing the cut at Club Novo at L.A. Live for newly vaccinated fans. As Silk Sonic performed their hit with the help of some backup singers, fans behind danced along while holding up signs.
Towards the end, .Paak even teased performance of a new song off their album but quickly changed his mind. “Do y’all want to hear a new song? Do ya’ll want to hear a new song off the new album? Nah! We’re gonna bring [‘Leave the Door Open’] back! ‘Cause we’re still in the top 10! We’re gonna do this again, and again, and again!”
