At this point, it’s tough to even count how many times that DONDA was supposed to drop and then didn’t, but it’s been delayed beyond belief. In the past few weeks, there were two listening events in Atlanta where the album was played and tonight, the (supposed) final event goes down in Chicago.
The set this time is a recreation of Ye’s childhood home. It’s taking place in Soldier Field, where fans have been attendance for a while now. The event was supposed to start a while ago, but the stream only just got put up online.
The idea was that the album was going to be released tonight after the show, but that looks less and less likely with each hour that passes. We’ll be happy to be surprised though.
