Taylor Swift Breaks Several Records as ‘Midnights’ Debuts at Number 1 with Over 1.5 Million Copies

 

Taylor Swift’s latest album Midnights has debuted at the number 1 spot of Billboard 200 chart this week nearly 1.6 million units moved in the first week.

The singer also sold more than 1 million pure units in the first week, the highest number since the bundle rules were changed in 2020. She has shattered several records while moving such a big number in week 1. Midnights has also broken the record for biggest 1st week in global Spotify streams for any album in 5 days of release, and Taylor has now become the most streamed artist in Spotify history: 35 billion streams across all credits.
