Jermaine Dupri and Curren$y have been teasing a series of joint albums for a while now and while we’ve only heard singles like ‘Essence Fest‘ up until now, tonight we get some news about when the first instalment can be expected.
On the TIDAL Check In with Elliott Wilson, Jermaine Dupri and Spitta revealed that the first volume of For Motivational Use Only will drop on the 4th of April, because 04/04 is Curren$y’s birthday and 404 is the Atlanta area code. They’re committing to that date for its significance despite it being a Tuesday too.
When discussing the date, Spitta also said that he wants to drop on 05/04 for the New Orleans area code too, so perhaps we can expect volume 2 a month after the first one.
