In 2013, there was a commercial for Dre Beats that featured Kendrick Lamar in the studio with Dre recording a song that fans dubbed ‘It’s Alive’ or ‘Pyrex’. The concept of the ad was that Dre and K. Dot were working on the song but something just wasn’t clicking, but eventually they figured it out, with the help of Dre’s headphones and Beats Pill speaker of course.
Out of nowhere, tonight the song in the commercial has leaked.
It has a pair of verses on it and likely was never going to be heard officially. Fans have been wanting this one for nearly a full decade now, so it’s an interesting leak. This follows two other leaks ‘Crooked’ and Burn’ that hit the internet recently, also from 2013.
