J. Cole Releases Limited Edition ‘2014 Forest Hills Drive’ Vinyl With Exclusive Bonus Songs

UPDATE: Across two versions of the album, fans will be getting 8 new songs. One version will include ‘Home Soon’, ‘Die Together’, ‘Judgement Day’ and ‘Winter Wonderland’ and the other will include ‘Keep Heaven Dancing’, ‘Miles’, ‘Black Man In Hollywood’ and ‘Obviously’.

Previous story:

J. Cole fans have been eating good, with all of the rapper’s early mixtapes finally on streaming services for the first time. The Warm Up and Friday Night Lights are considered better than most of his albums by most, so to have them on streaming finally, in their complete forms, is a big achievement.

This morning, there’s more big news for Cole fans. The rapper is releasing an exclusive version of 2014 Forest Hills Drive on vinyl that includes “never before heard bonus tracks from that era that can only be heard on this exclusive variant”. It’s limited to 2,014 copies.

You might remember that 2014FHD was going to be a double-disc album at one point, so there’s a lot of leftover music from that era. No word on how many extra songs will be on this, but however many there are, it doesn’t sound like they’ll make it to streaming.

You can pre-order the vinyl here. It shops on December 6th.
