Joey Bada$$ meant it when he said he’s war ready. So far, the rapper has taken on Ray Vaughn, Daylyt and AzChike without breaking out much of a sweat, also inviting Kendrick to spar.
But now, in a scathing new reply to AzChike’s ‘What Would You Do?’ and Daylyt’s warning shot ‘WRD2MIMVA,’ Joey Bada$$ isn’t alone — just holding his own.
With clever bars that question if it’s AzChike vs Joey or rather AzChike vs Ray Vaughn, Joey really went in on separating himself from the new cats. In fact, the bar also disses Daylyt, with AzChike ending up as a punch line in the couplet that goes:
“You talkin’ like I can’t see light, yeah, okay
The question is me, me v you or you v Ray?”
Can’t see light, UV Ray — we see what you’re up to Joey. But again, a lot of name flips being used as Daylyt pointed out. Joey once again went at Kendrick too, calling him a general and these other West Coast rappers just “troops.”
“I’m really the truth, got better off callin’ a truce
Better yet, get the general, I’m killing his troops”
This time, with more and more attacks on West Coast as a whole, Loaded Lux stepped up too. He went in on the track with the same energy as Joey, and delivered bars worthy of being a rapper’s rapper. So, who do you think is up right now?
