Travis Scott fans did not enjoy Killer Mike winning Grammy accolades over Travis, which resulted in comparison discussions on the Internet around the last Grammys. However, things became more official — with Travis Scott having taken shots (seemingly) at Killer Mike as part of the ‘Mo Coty Flexologist’ song.
While the song was apparently created around the Days Before Rodeo era, Killer Mike seemed convinced that there were “light bars” aimed at him. In a recent interview at Club Shay Shay, Killer Mike spoke about how he felt the attempt was cute and funny, all while maintaining his win as legitimate.
Killer Mike was respectful for the most part, and made sure to clarify that he enjoys what Travis does and that he’d even take his kids to see him live. That said, the rapper claimed that he’s an emcee, and when it comes to competing, he stays ready. “I’ve been doing this since I was 9 years old,” Killer Mike said, reiterating that he’s been perfecting the craft for over 40 years.
