One of the finest to rep the South when it comes to rap music, T.I. is finally making a comeback. But that’s not even the crazy part; the real surprise is Pharrell producing the song under the moniker Sk8brd P.
The song is called ‘Let Em Know,’ and true to its name, it is both an announcement and a statement. T.I. clearly wants people to know he’s back for good, and nothing was really going to cut through the noise than a good ol’ Pharrell beat.
The trailer, too, was a statement — showcasing T.I. getting rid of his dreads, succeeded by the signature 4-count Pharrell. Clearly, after criticisms on T.I.’s attempt at stand up comedy, the rapper has been quick to realise where his forte really is at.
Fired up and back in the booth, this may really be the bringing back of an era that T.I. dominated quite unlike anybody else. Check out the song below!
