The beef from earlier this year has been the biggest thing to happen in Hip-Hop culture for a long while and it’s still making headlines to this day.
In a yet-to-be-released issue of GQ which Elliott Wilson posted pictures of on Twitter, Future is asked about the beef and has an interesting response. He first jokes “what beef?”, but then gives some interesting insight that will probably surprise some people.
He points out that in Kendrick Lamar’s now infamous “motherf*ck the big three, n*gga it’s just big me” line on ‘Like That‘, Future himself was left out of the conversation. “I’m supposed to be the one that gets mad”, he says. His point is that if he didn’t get mad about being left out of the big three conversation, then no-one had a right to get mad at all.
