When you think of modern rappers gone too early, it is inevitable to think of the works of XXXTentacion and Juice WRLD. Both of these artists were true pioneers of their unique sound, with Juice possessing a gift for freestyles as well. While the two are gone, the music still lives; in fact, we have new music from the two!
The collaboration track is actually a remix for ‘Whoa (Mind in Awe),’ and has been released to public courtesy of the XXXTentacion & Juice WRLD Estates.
The music video is a sweet kick of nostalgia, and explores the artists’ Jamaican heritage by following the lives of kids on the island. The video culminates in bright visuals of a football field with lights, marking the journey from nothing to everything & the power of dreaming big.
The XXXTentacion Foundation, in collaboration with Juice WRLD’s 999 Foundation then proceeded to make the jerseys seen in the music video available to public. Proceeds from the sale of this merch will not only fund and empower community infrastructure in Jamaica, but also go a long way in supporting Juice’s efforts towards mental health awareness.
