For the uninitiated, Culture Jam is a collective founded by music executive Eesean Bolden which aims to bridge the gap between music sports and culture. They’re teaming up with Timberwolves frontman Ant Edwards for a compilation album called Culture Jam Presents: Legend In My Hood and following the first single ‘Late Bloomer’ back in February, tonight we get another taste of what to expect on it.
This one sees Wale and Pusha T team up over Don Cannon production for a new song called ‘Damage Control’. The focus is great production and great bars and it’s very refreshing to hear two rappers who haven’t collaborated in over ten years back together again to do just that.
