A surprise move by TDE & artist Ab-Soul has the culture shook; just recently, the rapper hopped on a song with J. Cole & Daylyt for their latest collaboration ‘Collard Greens.’
The 5 minute+ track is an extension of the original track that was a collaboration between Daylyt and J. Cole. Originally released as ‘A Plate Of Collard Greens,’ the song first came out in September 2024. Now, it has new life with the Ab-Soul verse.
On it, Ab-Soul tips his hat to J. Cole and displays all great qualities of a technically proficient writer, while also taking a light-hearted jab at Kendrick.
At the end, he says “Dot’s my partner and he can get it too, he’ll probably admit it too.” Bar for bar, this has to be one of the most technically brilliant songs in hip hop in recent times. Check it out!
