As opposed to what was previously planned, Wayne’s EP is now a full length album. There will be 10 new tracks on the digital version which will be available on September 27th and 12 on the physical copy which will be in stores October 12th. Cortez Bryant confirmed with SPIN that the songs were planned to be on Tha Carter IV but Weezy will now record new material for that project after he comes out on November 5th.
“I know once he got out [of jail] those songs would be so old to him. He’s going to probably start from scratch, I know how he records—he’s in the studio every single day. That’s his life.”
Mack Maine also told Rap-Up that C4 will not be out before 2011.
