Going Gold isn’t easy in today’s climate and when a debutant does it, it’s a special feeling indeed. TDE/Aftermath’s Kendrick Lamar’s good kid, m.A.A.d city has been certified Gold in only 5 weeks of release, as per TDE’s CEO Anthony Tiffit.

Mind you, this means number of copies shipped and not sold. The Compton emcee’s potential Rap album of the year has sold 428k copies till date. Congrats to the team!
