J. Cole sat down with Lee Hawkins from Wall Street Journal for nearly an hour long interview.
To start off, Cole speaks on his apology for the autism lyric & whether it will harm his brand. He then discusses his army background, still being cool with his father, his come up in the game, ‘Workout’ being a slow burner, the industry standards, clubs not playing his music but still selling tons of albums, graduating from college & importance of education, moving to NYC, signing with and relationship with Jay-Z, touring, doing features and more.
