Social media, specifically Twitter has been buzzing these past couple of days about controversy surrounding the artwork for Pharrell’s latest album G I R L. The gripe? That P doesn’t have enough representation of black girls on his cover. The rapper-producer-singer called into The Breakfast Club this morning to respond to the claims and asserted the fact that the lady right next to him is black and that the folks are just picking on anything without enough reason.
Hey people, can we instead focus on how good his album is and that ‘Happy’ is now #1 on Billboard Hot 100?
