UPDATE: Senior Vice President at Def Jam, Gabriel Tesoriero has confirmed with NY Daily News that Kanye’s laptop has not been stolen and the ‘Awesome’ song leak which happened last night is unrelated to it.
Did someone steal Kanye West’s laptop?
If his close aide and G.O.O.D. Music signee Malik Yusef is to be believed, Kanye’s laptop has been lost and “private investigation firms” are already on the case to help locate it.
Kanye West was in Paris until yesterday, closing out their Fashion Week with a concert series at the Fondation Louis Vuitton. No more information on this is available right now but if true, it could mean a disaster for ‘Ye and team as it puts unreleased music and other work stored on the machine in jeopardy.
We have the PRIVATE INVESTIGATION FIRMS ON TOP OF @kanyewest STOLEN LAPTOP!!!!!

This isn’t the first time a musician’s laptop has been allegedly stolen. Back in October, 2010, Ryan Leslie lost his laptop near Cologne, Germany but was later found by Armin Augstein, a 52-year-old German who had to sue R Les for not paying up the $1 million reward the singer had promised.
