Drake’s ‘If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late’ Goes Platinum

UPDATE (August 10): The album has now gone platinum with pure sales. It sold 8k copies this week, taking the total to 1.006 million.

New day, new achievement.

It’s becoming increasingly hard for artists in any genre, especially rappers, to sell a million copies of their albums. The introduction of the Sales Plus Streams system has been a big help for all.

This past week, 52,288 copies of If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late were sold (including streams) which means that including streams overall, over 1,000,000 copies of the project have officially been sold. Yep. And the physicals aren’t even out – yet.
