UPDATE: Last week the album sold 2,583 copies without streams which means that it is now platinum without SPS. Congrats!

Just days after Drake hit the platinum mark with If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late, J. Cole’s third album 2014 Forest Hills Drive has now sold over 1,000,000 copies including streaming since its release on December 9th 2014. Although only 80.94% of the numbers are reported, he has already sold at least 7,733 copies SPS this week which takes him over the huge mark.

Streaming is definitely going to become a huge part of music, especially with the new artist-owned TIDAL service which J. Cole is a part of amongst others. Congratulations to J. Cole and the entire Dreamville team!
