The success of 50 Cent’s STARZ TV show Power seems to be opening a lot of doors for the rapper/entrepreneur.
It has been announced today that 50 will co-executive produce a new sitcom titled My Friend 50 on FOX alongside Will Packer. He also make occasional appearances as version of himself in the series written by Ava Tramer.
The single camera series project “follows Amanda Kramer, an unstable twenty-something who believes that joining 50 Cent’s entourage is the answer to all her problems. Her unlikely journey with 50 Cent’s crew takes the form of a bizarre documentary commissioned by the most unreliable narrator in history: Amanda.”
This new TV project follows 50’s recent overall deal with Starz network. He is also an executive producer of SundanceTV’s series Dream School.
