UPDATE: Swizz Beatz visited the producer in hospital where he is recovering from the wounds. He seems to be in good spirits
Producer araabMUZIK loves getting into trouble or he just has a horrible (or maybe good since he as come out alive?) luck.
The hitmaker was shot twice in Harlem last night, his second such encounter. In 2013, he was shot in a robbery attempt in Rhode Island but recovered successfully from the incident.
NY Daily News reports that the producer was currently recovering following a surgery in a Harlem hospital after getting shot in the jaw and right arm. A friend of his named James Malloy who is on parole for conspiracy, was shot in the right leg and is in stable condition at St. Luke’s Hospital. The incident took place at ProPark America parking garage on W. 125th St. about 7 pm EST.
Sources said AraabMuzik and his friend had just left another friend’s home and went to the garage, where the producer got behind the wheel of his friend’s BMW. As he and Malloy headed to the exit, two men approached the driver’s side and one of the suspects tricked AraabMUZIk into thinking he had dropped something. As he rolled down the windows with true intentions, shots were fired. The Police have recovered 3 .380 caliber shell casings from the spot and investigations are underway.
