Beyonce has done it again. The singer has brought the world to a stand still with the release of her new album LEMONADE which debuted on TIDAL shortly after film of the same name aired on HBO.
The one hour film, which features contributions from Serena Williams, The Weeknd and James Blake, is put together like a collection of music videos from the album but also features short stories and introductions from the singer in between. She doesn’t explicitly mention it anywhere in the film but it’s clear from majority of the content that she’s aiming to address her husband Jay Z’s alleged infidelity and struggles of coping with it.
The film is directed by Beyonce along with Mark Romanek, Khalil Joseph, Melina Matsoukas, Todd Tourso, Dikayl Rimmasch and Jonas Akerlund. Watch it on HBO here or press play below.
