Young Thug Announces New Mixtape 'Jeffery' Exec. Prod. By TM88 & New Release Date

UPDATE 2: After pushing back the tape last week but releasing a new son ‘Elton‘ with Wyclef, Thugger has now announced via a video trailer that the project will be out on August 26th.

Let’s hope he is on time this time around. The trailer does look promising.

Young Thug is slowly approaching Future and Curren$y output levels. The versatile artist has already released two mixtapes this year — I’m Up and Slime Season 3 with another one called I Came For Nothing 4 on the way.

Now Thugger has announced yet another mixtape called Jeffery, which is a reference to his real name Jeffrey Lamar Williams.

He even previewed a new song on Instagram with the announcement of the project which you can hear above. To make things even better, producer TM88 took to Twitter to tell fans that he’s executive producing the project.

UPDATE: Thugger has announced that the tape will drop on Tuesday, August 16th. We’re guessing this is a free release since it’s a non-Friday.
