Nicki Minaj Denies Claims That PARTYNEXTDOOR Wrote ‘Regret In Your Tears’

The concept of writing songs for other people has been a prominent conversation since the Drake vs. Meek Mill situation and yet another allegation cropped up this weekend.

After Nicki Minaj released three new singles earlier in the week, PARTYNEXTDOOR started to favourite tweets suggesting that he might have had something to do with the creation of ‘Regret In Your Tears’, Nicki’s solo record. He of course openly wrote Rihanna’s smash ‘Work’. Perhaps being overly defensive about her own songs as a result of Remy Ma’s recent diss records, Nicki took to Twitter to clear up the fact that he had nothing to do with the song and was very firm in doing so. The tweets were a shock for many because PND and Nicki appeared on Major Lazer’s ‘Run Up‘ together just a few short weeks ago.

PARTY then took to Twitter to state that he’s a fan of Nicki and that he hopes “she’s as cool” as he’s always imagined and Nicki responded by posting a fan’s assessment of the situation on IG. The social media posts have since been deleted but below you can find screenshots. Let us know what you think about the situation.
