Last week, it was announced that Ice Cube will be releasing a special 25th anniversary edition of his iconic album Death Certificate featuring three new songs. It comes after the veteran rapper’s fresh signing with Interscope Records.
One of the new songs on the album is ‘Only One Me’ where Cube flexes about his influence in Gangsta Rap. “Taught 2pac how to keep it gangsta / Showed Biggie Smalls how to release his anger,” raps Cube over hard drums that are sure to remind you of some of his classic material.
Let’s hope this is sign that he will release his long delayed new album Everythang’s Corrupt soon. Stream ‘Only One Me’ below.
