Lil Wayne is currently doing spot dates of his tour in Europe but took out some time to chat with his old friend Wild Wayne on Q93 radio station in New Orleans. Weezy chats about how excited he is for the third annual Lil WeezyAna Fest which goes down in Nola on August 25th.
YoungBoy Never Broke Again and Atlanta-based artists Gucci Mane and Rich the Kid are the confirmed guests so far but the multi platinum rapper promised that there will be some special surprises on deck. He chose not to reveal the names just yet.
At the 6:40 mark, Weezy addressed the expected query about his long awaited album Tha Carter V. He didn’t say anything more than what we already know, insisting that the album has been done for a while and he doesn’t want it to “come out the wrong way.” The Young Money boss touched on his latest song ‘Like A Man‘, denying that it’s an official single. He said it was done a few years ago and once he heard the new production on it, he decided to officially release it for the fans. Listen to the full interview below.
