Kendrick Lamar’s critically acclaimed third album DAMN. was not really a commercial set in its truest sense but it has already spawned multiple hits like ‘HUMBLE’, ‘DNA’ and ‘LOYALTY’. The Rihanna featured song ended up being a success on the radio, peaking at number 1 on the Rhythmic radio charts and gathering millions of spins on streaming services.
K.Dot is now ready for another round in promotion of the album as he, along with his labels TDE and Interscope, have picked ‘LOVE’ as the next single from DAMN. The mellow song which features young artist from Bakersfield, CA, Zacari, has already been one of the most popular songs from the number 1 album so it makes perfect sense to fully push it.
‘LOVE’ was officially sent to radio stations across America this week and is already the top most added song on Rhythmic format this week. You will also soon begin to see it featured in a lot of playlists on streaming services like Spotify, Apple Music and TIDAL.
In August, Kendrick finally admitted that DAMN. was created in a way that it could be played backwards.
