Back in 2016, Royce 5’9″ had revealed that he plans to release another new album soon, titled Book of Ryan, the follow up to that year’s Layers. There has been a delay but Royce has given us a great album with DJ Premier, PRhyme 2.
He is not shying away from his promise though. The elite Detroit emcee has now revealed the artwork and tracklist for Book of Ryan which will be available for pre-order later tonight. The release date has still not been announced. J. Cole is the only guest on the album who assists Royce on the previously released single ‘Boblo Boat‘. The music video is expected to arrive on Monday, March 26.
“Book of Ryan is my greatest piece of work,” he told Complex. “I put everything I had into this album (spiritually, mentally, physically, and financially) and am excited to finally share it with the world. I hope you enjoy.”
UPDATE: The album is up for pre-order now on iTunes which also reveals the release date: May 4.
