Jay Rock is set to release his new album Redemption on Friday, June 15th featuring the lead single ‘Win‘.
Today, he has unveiled episode one of his docu-series Road To Redemption. Rock takes fans through the journey of coming up in Watts to helping Top Dawg establish a successful record label back in 2007-08. It features rare footage of Rock, Kendrick, Ab-Soul & ScHoolboy Q trying to come up in the game, and also short interviews with the artists themselves as well as some label executives like Punch, Dave Free and Ret One. Jay Rock dropped the intro song to the album, ‘The Bloodiest’ last week along with the official track list. It has guest appearances from Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, Jeremih and SZA.
