When you’re Drake, you have a lot of options for pushing something as a single because you have hits on hits piled up. That’s happening again with his latest album Scorpion.
As many as seven songs from the album are within the top 10 of Billboard Hot 100 right now with ‘Nice for What’ back at the number 1 spot. The third most popular song from the album, aside from the previous singles, is ‘In My Feelings’ which is blowing up at streaming as we speak. Last week, we reported that the Michael Jackson featured ‘Don’t Matter To Me’ and ‘In My feelings’ will serve as the next twin singles from Drizzy’s blockbuster set.
'In My Feelings' is really on course to be the next solid number 1.
Currently:
#1 iTunes (with a 100% lead over Maroon 5/Cardi B)
#1 Spotify
#1 Apple Music— Navjosh (@Navjosh) July 9, 2018
But it looks like Drake and Republic Records have decided to stop pushing the former at radio and other platforms because of how quickly ‘In My Feelings’ is gaining traction. The song is currently number 1 on Spotify, Apple Music and iTunes at the time of writing this article and continues to go viral on social media thanks to the “in my feelings” challenge which has already attracted dance videos from Ciara, Kevin Hart, New York Giants wide-receiver Odell Beckham Jr. and others after Instagram comedian TheShiggyShow sparked the idea.

‘In My Feelings’ is the only song now being pushed at radio by the label at the highest priority. It seems like a music video for the catchy track is coming soon as well. Spotify’s Carl Chery posted a video featuring Drizzy’s go-to director, 22-year-old Karena Evans, behind the camera on the sets of the shoot in New Orleans earlier today (July 9th). Watch it below.
