Snoop Dogg did not release any Rap music in 2018 but he did venture out and put out a Gospel album called Bible of Love which topped the genre charts on debut.
But the West Coast legend is now back to working on Hip-Hop. On Christmas day, he had taken to Instagram stories to reveal that his next studio album, the follow up to 2017’s Neva Left, is titled I Wanna Thank Me. The name seems to be inspired by the speech he gave in November after receiving a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. “I want to thank me for believing in me,” Snoop delivered a humbling and modest message.

On Saturday evening, Snoop revealed on his IG that the new album is due out in February. Neva Left had a throwback feel and featured appearances from Too Short, KRS-One, Charlie Wilson, Redman, and more but it did not do well commercially, selling just 11k copies in the first week.
