Drake sold 447k in the first week. Now Eminem’s Recovery is expected to move between 590k-615k copies in the opening week at sales. That also gives it a chance to top his last CD Relapse which sold 608k in the first week. Nevertheless, it is set to become the top debut of 2010. Stop comparing Eminem and Drake sales. It’s a win for Hip Hop. My rating for the album though: 7/10.
On the other hand, The Roots’ new album How I Got Over is estimated for a 35k-40k total.
