The Grammy Awards from 2012 onwards will not be the same. In a major restructuring move, the total number of awards has been reduced from 109 to 78. Rap, R&B and Pop categories have been hit hard as now there will not be separate categories for Male & Female. Group performance and collaborations have also been merged together.
