Last week at SXSW, MTV’s Rob Markman caught up with the Queens MC to discuss an upcoming collaboration with Barbie, Nicki Minaj. Nas was very calm in saying that the track is “hip hop” and seemed very confident about the record. ‘Champion’ will also feature Drake and Young Jeezy. Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded is out on April 3rd.
“Nicki hit us up, I got love, so it was nothin’ — I did the record. It’s hip-hop music; music is music. If I feel it, I can get on it. I heard the track, I felt it, I loved it.”
