You can never tell with Kanye. In a fresh press release sent by Def Jam, it has been revealed that title of Kanye’s blazing single ‘Theraflu‘ has been changed to ‘Way Too Cold’ featuring DJ Khaled. The song is now available on his official website for purchase.
The reason being cited is ‘creative decision’ but it may have to do with the company that produces the over-the-counter cold and flu remedy of the same name keeping a distance from the song.
Even PETA had responded to his lyrics “Someone tell PETA my mink is draggin’ on the floor” by issuing the following statement:
“What’s draggin’ on the floor is Kanye’s reputation as a man with no empathy for animals or human beings. He’s a great musician but doesn’t seem to have the fashion sense to design anything more than caveman costumes. We keep hoping that one day he’ll find his heart and join evolved style icons — including Russell Simmons, Pink and Natalie Portman — who have dropped animal skins.”
The artwork for the song has also been altered from the original as the ‘Theraflu’ bottle has been taken off. See it after the jump.
