Lil Wayne has come out in the open with his true feelings about New York. The Young Money rapper hasn’t had a very kind relationship with the home of Hip-Hop as he was arrested in 2007 at Manhattan’s Columbus Circle and convicted in 2009 on gun possession charges which resulted in one year behind bars. Earlier this year, he made the executive decision to pull out Nicki Minaj from the Hot 97 Summer jam concert along with other Young Money artists, after she was disrespected by radio personality Peter Rosenberg.
Nicki made up for fans last week by doing a intimate concert at the Roseland Ballroom where Weezy also made a cameo. Speaking to MTV about the event, Wayne says everything happens for a reason and that “flat out, I don’t Like New York“. Yikes!
