will.i.am is about to do something very unique. The Black Eyed Peas leader has partnered with NASA to premiere his upcoming single ‘Reach For The Stars’ through the speakers of the Curiosity rover, which landed on Mars earlier this month on a fact-finding mission, MSN reports.
On Tuesday, NASA officials will host a special listening session for students at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California where they will announce a new educational initiative in partnership with the rapper’s charity, i.am.angel Foundation. Will is currently working on his sophomore album #Willpower, expected to release later this year. Reaching for the stars — literally.
