Nelly has been getting a lot of heat for the choice of sound on his first single ‘Hey Porsche‘ from the upcoming album M.O. Some folks are drawing comparisons with Flo Rida’s ‘Whistle’ but that is no surprise since both songs are produced by DJ Frank E. The song, however is off to a pretty good start with 24 adds on Pop radio in its first week.
Only time will tell if Nelly’s gamble pays but he’s already shot the video for the song and here are some photos from the sets. Also, below is an interview he did with 107.5 Columbus where he defends the song to the hosts.
