There’s some bad news for Beyonce fans — the The-Dream song on which she’s featured may not make his upcoming album IV Play.
Terius chatted with Vibe and revealed that there are some issues with clearance of the sample on the song which might force him to pull the song from the album. He’s also quite excited about ‘High Art’, which features Jay-Z.
“We finally got that Hov verse on there. That shit is crazy, “High Art.” “I also got Gary Clark Jr. on “Too Early In The Morning.” That record is going to destroy something.”
“You might not hear [Beyonce] on the album because there’s a sample issue we’re having. We’ll be praying about that,” The-Dream tells VIBE. “We could switch it up but it’s almost like this particular sample made the record. So, if it’s not right then we don’t do it. I do don’t songs ‘just because.’
IV Play hits stores on May 28th.
