We already know that the four members of Slaughterhouse have been in the studio, recording their third album which will be their second for Shady Records/Interscope. But the group and label have formally announced it today along with the news that Just Blaze will serve as the executive producer.
Joe Budden, Joell Ortiz, Crooked and Royce Da 5’9” is spending the entire month of June with producers J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League, araabMuzik and Just Blaze to create the album from scratch. According to Shady Records, “this isn’t a send-tracks-around, and everyone-records-in-their-own-studio type of album.”
Says Royce:
“everyone is in the perfect space, mentally. It feels great to be back in the studio with the guys and I think that I can speak for everyone when I say that we just wanna make an album that will stand the test of time and mean sum’n to Hip-Hop.”
