Drake isn’t having a very smooth run on his new tour. He was supposed to perform the second show of his Would You Like A Tour? at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia tonight which was abruptly canceled at the very last minute.
The performance was supposed to begin at 7 pm but fans at the venue started to express their frustration after 8.30 pm when they realized that something is wrong. According to Rebecca Goodman, a spokeswoman for the Wells Fargo Center, the concert was postponed due to an “unexpected technical issue” which was announced shortly after 8.30 pm. She also confirmed that the show has now been moved to December 18th.
“Drake, the Wells Fargo Center, Live Nation, and the entire team behind tonight’s show want to ensure fans will experience an unforgettable live music event and have decided to move the concert to a new date,” she wrote in a released statement. “All tickets and original parking receipts from tonight’s show will be honored at the Wednesday, December 18 date.”
Drake kicked off the tour on Friday night in Pittsburgh where he brought out special guest Wiz Khalifa.
