[Saturday Spotlight] Knucklehead

We’re back with this week’s Saturday Spotlight but this time, we’re doing something different. We’re putting our focus on a producer named Knucklehead out of Texarkana, Texas who has produced for the likes of Kirko Bangz, Gucci Mane, August Alsina and Rocko. But he has really announced his arrival with the number urban song ‘I Luv This Sh*t’ performed by August Alsina.

Knucklehead is a young producer from Texarkana, Texas who is riding high off the success of August Alsina’s number 1 hit ‘I Luv This Sh*t’. He easily fuses R&B with his street “trap” feel which has now become his trademark sound. Says August about the song:

“I didn’t know it would be this big. I knew it had the potential to be, but so much has to go right to get here. What I did know is that I wanted it to be the first song that people heard from me, because it represents who I am. After we finished the song, I went home and listened to it about 50 times. If I liked it that much, I figured other people would too. I knew we had a #1”

The talented producer is now looking forward to the future:

“I like working with new talent. I’m in with rapper Rocky Diamonds right now. We’ve got some dope shit together that should be dropping soon. But for the most part, I’m focused on finishing August’s album which will be coming next year.”.
