Is D12 planning a comeback along with Eminem? According to a recent article posted in Detroit Free Press, that seems to be the case.
The website did an article focusing on concentration of high-end studios and audio firms in the Detroit metropolitan area of Ferndale including Effigy Studio, 54 Sound, Vintage King Audio and F.B.T. Studios. Marks Bass, who co-owns F.B.T. Studios and has worked with the likes of Eminem, D12 and T.I. revealed that he’s been mixing upcoming material from D12 which includes three tracks with Eminem.
Bass, who has started a label called Motunes Media, says he’s also been mixing new material by the mercurial funk-pop giant Sly Stone with members of the original Family Stone band, along with new D12 tracks, including three with Eminem.
The group hasn’t released an album since D12 World in 2004. Are you looking forward to a comeback?
