TMZ reported today that Jeezy was arrested in Atlanta for battery, false imprisonment, and making terroristic threats to his son for an incident back in September of 2012.
According to police documents, Jeezy got into a fight with son where the Atlanta rapper shoved his son into a glass shower door, leaving him with serious injuries. He then proceeded to punch him in the face and utter the words, “I will kill you. I will put a bullet in your head right now. If I could get away with it, I would kill you.” according to reports.
After being issued a warrant, Jeezy turned himself in on Friday. His lawyer says, “We have no doubt this matter will resolve itself appropriately. At this moment, Mr. Jenkins is thankful for the support of his fans and the respect for his family’s privacy.”
