Things haven’t gone Mariah Carey’s way when it comes to the launch of her long pending new album, tentatively titled The Art Of Letting Go. But she will be hoping to turn the tide soon. The legendary singer is on the cover of latest issue of Billboard magazine where she is expected to reveal some details about her LP. The issue which is on news stands now can be purchased here.

Mariah is planning a Beyonce-like surprise release for the album. The cover, track listing title and the music will be released at once via to-be-announced digital partners. The physical release will follow the next week.

Nas, Wale and trey Songz serve as the guest features along with “a special guest star that she’s not allowed to reveal”. Hit-Boy and Mike Will Made It will have production it.
She’s aware of the failed singles:
“You would think I would be all about the singles-driven situation, and I am in a way, but with this particular album I want my fans to hear it as a body of work,” she says. “This is my life since we last left off. Just picture a dot dot dot, and then here’s the album.”
This won’t be her last album:
“I will always make music. When I said it could be my last, that’s because tomorrow’s not promised to anyone.”
