Michael Jackson’s new posthumous and controversial album XSCAPE is in stores today via Epic Records. The album, which is receiving mixed reviews contains 8 never heard before songs in both their original form as well as reworked version by top contemporary producers like Timbaland, Rodney Jerkins and Stargate.
According to HDD, the album is set to sell 120-140k in the first week, similar to numbers projected for The Black Keys’ new album Turn Blue, hence making it a tough fight for the number 1 spot next week.
UPDATE: Both albums are now projected to sell 140-150k.
