BBC broadcast a new radio documentary called The Story of Q-Tip on Sunday that focused on the influence of the A Tribe Called Quest leader. During the hour long segment, there were also interviews with Pharcyde, Nas and Pharrell.
During the interview, Q-Tip announced there will be a 25th anniversary reissue of A Tribe Called Quest’s second album Low End Theory featuring unheard music, including the track ‘Silence’ featuring Leaders of the New School. Of course, he still plans to release his new solo LP called The Last Zulu via G.O.O.D. Music / Def Jam but there is no set date yet. Listen to the full segment below.
