The newly reunited G-Unit sat down at the Shade 45 offices last week for their first interview since getting back together where they also played exclusive songs from their just dropped The Beauty Of Independence EP. The interview was conducted by MTV’s own Rob Markman and aired tonight on the radio station.
In the one hour special, the G-United crew spoke on getting back together and why the miscommunication happened leading to the disbanding, recording new music together and having fun with it, releasing a Mike Brown dedication ‘Ahhh Sh*t’ and more. Lloyd Banks explains his under the radar personality and why he chose not to address all the breakup rumors, not having pressure on him to be out there all the time releasing new music.
Young Buck and 50 Cent also spoke on the infamous phone call that 50 taped while Buck was crying.
50 Cent also spoke on Ja‘s and Fredro’s recent claims that they beat him up, why Eminem is so important to our culture, rapping on others’ beats, asking Drake personally for the ‘0 To 100’ beat, pouring his hear out on ‘Changes’, how Beats headphones became a priority over releasing music for Dr. Dre & Jimmy Iovine and if there’s something that could break up the crew again.
