Beyonce shut the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards down on Sunday night with a 15-plus minute performance of her hits followed by an emotional and tearful family moment on stage.
Jay-Z and Blue Ivy came up to the stage to present the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award to a tearful King B. Hugs and kisses followed, as her husband presented her the trophy with the following words: “And the recipient of the Michael Jackson Vanguard Award and the greatest living entertainer, Beyoncé.”
